a THANK YOU giveaway

I want to say thank you to everyone who participated in my meme in 2010.  Ive met lots of nice new people and blogs.

so anyway, I dont want to commit to making anything for you.  I find sewing for someone else very stressful!  I want to give away something that I know that everyone will jump at!

I know- another Ottobre!

conditions of entry are that you must have entered at least 2 sign ups!

When entering you must
b) you must want an Ottobre.
c) you must chose and Ottobre that is still available.  All issues from year 2000, 1+2+3 2001, 1/2002 and 3/2008 are sold out.
d) if you chose a popular version you might get the instructions on a separate piece of paper and the mag may be in Finnish.
e) I must be able to contact you somehow.  If I cant then I will have to redraw the prize.
f) comments must be made on the blog (not FB) please.

this giveaway will be announced at 6pm 31st January my time

 Ottobre posts world wide too.

The reason I chose to give away and Ottobre is that I felt it would not discriminate.  Even if you don't sew they are pretty to look at (although the point is that you do sew from them)

I really like the ones that I have, and its hard to really chose one that I really like.  I know I like the 1/2009 and have made a few things from that issue.  But I have so many other Ottos that I cant seem to part with... so its really up to you (the winner).

For those who don't win, you can head over to Crafty Mamas to get your own Ottobre. They also have Farbenmix too and some yummy fabrics.  Also over at Crafty Mamas is a forum, so that you can ask questions about your Ottobre projects.

I have been really pondering over the ladies 2/2008... might have to save for that one!

Oh I so very much want to win!
I would really love the Spring 1/2010 issue.
It's been such a great set of challenges last year, I was so, so hoping you would kick off another one for this year!

Don't enter me Caroline. I hope someone wins who really could use an Ottobre (or more Ottobre) I did sign up for a few then lost steam as the year got busier. Thank you for hosting!

Don't enter me either Carolyn, I like Tas, wanted to say thanks for hosting. Your challenge worked like this for me- if I signed up I probably didn't get it done, but if I didn't, I probably did- the idea was I was going to pop up and say- hey, I did it! I was also great when no one told me to do homework- but the minute someone suggested I should be studying- nah, forget it- reverse psychology? Well done, thanks, I hope you enjoyed it.

Ooooh - I'd love to have a chance to win! And it would have to be the 1/2009 issue, with those gorgeous skirts. I would love to make one for my niece in the UK. Thank you too for hosting the challenge, I had so much fun and it motivated me to sew and finish something! Will there be a challenge for 2011? :)

I'd love to be entered. I'd pick 2/2010 there are some lovely tops in there. Thanks for organising the challenges. They certainly gave me something to focus on. Even though I didn't finish some, I have the makings organised and they are something I will be able to work on this year.

Oooo... what a lovely giveaway. Please throw my name into the draw, and if I was fortunate enough to win I'd choose 1/2008.

Thanks too for hosting the sewing challenge. I got so much out of it and I really have to thank you for encouraging me to learn new things. Thanks.

Oh yes i do want an otobre! I have been reading about the magazine but I can't get it anywhere. I have visited their blog too and I want the magazine even more. Any issue you have is ok with me. I sew for my son and for me too so, am really crossing my fingers on this one.
The sewing challenge was awesome.
