I want to learn to crochet.

I have tried and tried to crochet in the past, always getting frustrated and throwing in the towel. I have been reassured on many occasions that it is easy! So why cant I do it! I love the look of crochet beanies!
So I am armed with a large download limit on my computer (for You tube), my sewing machines are going in for a service on Monday, so they cant distract me, and I will let You Tube teach me to crochet!
anyone else wanna try?
Youtube is great as you can pause and catchup, go back and watch again and again! and I did...ALOT!

ReplyDeleteHooray! You'll love it.
ReplyDeleteCheck out attic24, she has wonderful tutorials.
have fun.
Have fun Carolyn. There seem to be a few people who struggle with crochet. Maybe it is genetic...like being able to roll your tongue or brussel sprouts tasting bitter lol. ;)
ReplyDeleteI have the same trouble with knitting lol
ReplyDeleteBest resource I had for getting the hang of crochet, was Teach Yourself Visually Crocheting - I borrowed it from my library (http://booko.com.au/books/isbn/9780764596414). It shows each step in photos and words.
Best of luck :)
Sounds like we are due for a catch up. I'm more than happy to teach you :) What days are good for you?
