So I am planning on whipping out the ENID mags and having a go at drafting a pattern.
I have in the past designed my own tracky pants for a friends son who was 3 and could not find trackies that fit him, I used this website. The end result was rather satisfying. The mum could make 5 pairs of trackies knowing they would fit!
Anyhoo sign up below!
Ooooh - can't wait for this one! I've got some gorgeous fabric with Frida Kahlo on it, which I have been longing to use - a skirt at the moment methinks - though it could change! Thanks for setting the challenges - wish I'd found you sooner! happy sewing :)
ReplyDeletehey there
ReplyDeleteCarolyn thanx so much for this challenge i have fabric that i want to make a maxi dress out of so this will give me the shove i need xx
ps thanx for last months challenge my first solo zip done and now not so scared!!!
I have me a list of things I want to draft up using my fave tee pattern as a base. So once again the challenge is very timely.
ReplyDeleteI'm in for this one too. I'll be using a pattern that I've seen 'sketched' and will have to print off, draw up, then check that it will measure up properly. This is going to be a real challenge for me, but I can't wait for the fabric to arrive...
ReplyDeleteOh hello! I just wandered across your blog and have been meaning to make a tshirt that fits! Or at least a tshirt. So this should give me the push I need (unless I end up making something a little less intimidating without knit fabric!)
ReplyDeleteDS gave me an idea the other day for a new toy...wish me luck
ReplyDeleteI'm done!!!! After missing last months, I have mine done early this month, LOL! The link I posted with my name is for the How-To with lots of pictures.
