Cupcake for Maya

Modeled my niece Indigo

Pattern Cupcake Hat
Yarn Clecketon 8ply.
Pattern calls for 10ply but I used 8ply
as that was what was available and its also for a NB baby.

Noro Milo

Pattern: Milo vest
Yarn: Noro Silk Garden Lite size 3
Equipment: 4mm Addis Terbos.
Adjustments:Knitted a braid instead of what was offered
on the pattern, which is 9 stitches long and 8 rows deep.

Very happy with the result. very easy pattern with outstanding functional results!

Sorry I didn't knit the beanie.- but I did knit the one in the previous post!

Aquarium

Ellise with a star fish

Tyler with a star fish

Penguin
We braved the aquarium today. It was rather good, and will be returning one day with all the kiddies. Was glad for today though that we only took the 2 middle ones. and left Lily at home and Mitchell at school. It was a sea of prams and 2yo, with equal amounts of mummies calling out for their children who had run off to the next exhibit. After lunch it somewhat calmed down and we were able to stay for the feeding of the fish/ sharks/ rays. I was quite amazed with how greedy the rays were, often covering the divers to get to the buckets. The divers didn't seem bothered by it. The photos are not that good due to not being able to use a flash, but under the second one there is a diver under 2 rays. The divers would touch the rays tip and the pop the food into their mouth, quite amazing stuff.

Do we breed climbers?

We have got 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls

All 4 of them climb...

And are really cheeky and proud of it! they are all small, adgile, flexible and rarely fall! (I can count on 1 hand how many times any of them have fallen- I think Ellise once and Lily once, not including when the chest of draws fell on top of the boys while they were climbing that!)
Everything has to be tried at least once, maybe more when mum isn't looking!

Is there any cure? Maybe any cure for the mothers who watch in fear while with 16 month old scales ladders and slides, to slide down, then run around and climb straight back up again!
And then the 4 year old who must have his photo taken while poking a face!
