My Tuesday Tip has to do with sewing while tired...

When you are sewing a georgeous back pack (which is THIS pattern- very easy pattern LOVE IT!)

And you forget to ...

Add the straps at the back...

you are probably best just to give it a miss for that sewing session...

(I didnt and yes I did keep making silly mistakes)

I havnt got any pictures of this one, so hopefully I can describe it accuratly.

When you are sewing a tube- like for a belt of a dress.  Sew some ribbon secured at the top on the right side of the fabric.  So that the ribbon is on the inside of the tube when you sew the right sides together.  then instead of having to poke around trying to get the tube around the right way you can just pull the ribbon.

And then unpick it.

There are tools that can help you achieve this, but this was a quick and easy way with no tool.
