When the baby girl dresses herself, anything is possible.

but hey- those blue eyes just melt you

in a few years, she will be totally up with what looks good, what is the latest fashions. So for now, gumboots, tracksuit pants, a dress, a tee and a bag... that is perfectly acceptable attire around here.

Soon she will be telling me what I should wear...

maybe she should start now?

nah- its red gumboots and trackies all the way!

what we can learn from our children

when mum says smile- just poke a face



when mum says get dressed, anything with hearts matches, even if its red and pink.



that any pants that fit your waist fit perfectly



its a must that it has a motorbike on it



And if you pedal your bike going down hill on a dirt road- it really hurts when you lose control and face plant.

I did a little crafting.  A little chatting on the phone.  And a little fabric sorting..

whats in your stash?

So last week the girls got into my fabric.  Pulled the entire fabric stash out.  It should be noted that the husband was so kind to put it all back into the cupboard in perfect shoved style.

Opening the cupboard I noticed that there was an odd presence- something that is not usually in my stash.

why you wear your socks over your trackies

My georgeous little 4yo daughter came outside the yesterday wearing her socks pulled up over her trackies...

Can you think of a reason why?

I know I struggled with the idea, it looks rather daggy, although credit that they are colour co-ordinated!

Its so that you dont get sand in your pants when your playing in the sandpit!

Ahh- then great tips you learn from your kids!

10th Of Blogtoberfest

So I have finally finished a WIP for my little girls. A denim Ottobre dress with wooden buttons and ribbon. I really love the results, and so do the girls...
