Brought to you by Hugo and Elsa and Kootoyoo
Well have you ever known it to be possible to combine 2 different topics. My work in progress is my creative space!
I have been wanting to share this with you in the blog world for a few weeks, but have kept quiet... mainly I think we are so tired from working on it.
Its my sewing room!!
It now has plaster and a roof, and Al is installing the insulation and the down lights as we speak. Its also brought to you by my sisters husband. And funded by K.Rudd!
Its not big, its just right really. Approx 3 X 2.5mt. Its at the back of the garage, and the challenge will be to install a door through to the house, so that I can go in there while my kids are asleep and Im home alone. As it is at the moment you cant hear what happens in the house, where as if there was a door it would be ok. Only the garage is on the ground where as the house is on stumps. So the door is destined to be (affectionately) a 'doggy door'.
So anyway, I need some ideas for decorations. I plan on doing it as neutral as possible so that it doesn't reflect on what I am sewing at the time, with photos, fabric, pictures my kids have drawn all as decoration. What do you think?

Lucky you to be getting a sewing room! Have fun setting it all up.
How exciting getting your own sewing room. Fantastic!!! What about just a simple cream or white walls with some back and white photos all the way around and some kids drawings put onto canvas??? A little shelf in the corner to host your fabric stash and WOLLA!!! Ohhhhh, I'm so jealous, I want one too. ha ha
A little shelf Beetlehouse, you mustnt have seen her stash!! LOL
Carolyn is being so lovely about it all though, she has kindly offered me half of the space for me to craft in and an SLR camera to say thank you for the time I gave my husband away for - LOL
